Bangor Workshops
The communications department has been working on the agency’s state-wide workshops for some months now. The publicity began with postcards and the magazine, and now has switched to the online outreach.
As with most of the organizations within Maine, time is always the hardest factor in deciding where to concentrate marketing efforts. The agency will soon be adding a marketing section to the website, if you have ideas let us know.
Here is the workshop details.
One hundred and twenty five people joined the Maine Arts Commission and its partners throughout the day at the Portland Public Library to share information in a series of discussions and workshops. A short video clip can be seen on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGTDEo59uBQ) and some photos are viewable in the workshop album of Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mainearts/).
The workshops now move to the University of Maine Museum of Art in Bangor on May 14. The workshops are free and are open to all wishing to attend, because of space limitations some components require pre-registration. Full details can be found at www.MaineArts.com.
